Tell them you love them every morning. Every morning before leaving for work or university, tell them that you love them and will miss them

• Respect them: Always show respect to your parents. Never answer back, even if you think that they are wrong.
• Listen to their old stories: Being a child, you must learn from their experiences and learn from them
• Spend time with them: The more time you will spend with your parents, the more chance you will get to know each other.
• Try and develop a friendly relationship: If you treat your parents as your best friends, everything will be easy and you will be able to share your secrets with them!
• Smile: If either of your parents are angry, usually a “smile” does the trick. It makes their hearts melt!
• Stop and think: Even if you are going through a rough patch, think that this phase will pass. The difficulties that you are facing will not last forever, but remember you will not even get the precious time back with your family.

Do not let the apprehension about caring your parents steal your joy. Treat every moment that you spend with your parents as consecrated. Value them at every step and make them realize their worth and importance!
